Raven’s Cry is a third-person action RPG, which takes on sea voyages and pirate duels.

Raven’s Cry is a third-person action RPG, which takes on sea voyages and pirate duels. In many ways, it resembles the second installment of the Risen cycle, enriched by naval battles involving sailing ships. At the beginning of the development, the production was being dealt with by a team at a Finnish studio, Octane Games, but, after some time, it was handed over to a Polish studio, Reality Pump. The developer is known for, among others, the series of Earth and Two Worlds.

We play as a pirate named Christopher Raven. The man survived a pirate attack, at a young age, in which his parents died. Many years later, he swears revenge on the perpetrators and decides to track them down. The developers led the story seriously, splitting it into chapters, and the story does not have much in common with a satirical approach known from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. In the game, there are even some historical events and characters. Get to, among others, the Jamaican Port Royal or an Aztec city in the jungle.
